Hayfa Takouti - Visual Artist: Tunisian visual artist who graduated from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, workshops, art gatherings and festivals in Tunisia and abroad, including several countries across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. She has also presented several solo exhibitions in Tunisia and Egypt. Haifa Takouti works as an artistic coordinator for various exhibitions, festivals and art events. She is also the Artistic Director of the Chokri Belaïd International Art Meeting since its creation, contributing to the development of artistic programmes, the coordination of participants, and the organisation of exhibitions and events. Her artistic practice is characterised by spontaneity and continuous exploration. Her work revolves around colour, symbolism, emotions, memory and human experiences. She begins with a spontaneous gesture that allows the artwork to evolve and gradually reveal images and meanings, giving her work an open-ended quality and inviting multiple interpretations.
